1

Beginner Guide

Begin with careful observation: inspect each room, note unusual machinery, and keep track of visual and audio clues before changing the environment.

2

3

Exploration and Interaction

Search the fully explorable 3D spaces methodically, examine Victorian machinery, and revisit objects when a new clue changes their meaning.

4

Flickering World Preparation

Expect memory-shaped spaces, shifting gravity, and temporal distortions. Use lateral thinking instead of treating every puzzle as a conventional lock.

What is Sublustrum?

Sublustrum is a first-person psychological adventure in which a writer investigates the disappearance of his scientist brother. Repairing a machine designed to immerse a person in the subconscious opens the way to the surreal Flickering World.

The upcoming game is a fully explorable 3D reimagining of the 2008 adventure by its original creators. Its puzzles use sound, frequency tuning, voices hidden in static, shifting gravity, temporal distortions, and associative thinking.
